Is #3 The Ghost and Mrs. Muir?
ReplyDeleteHi Joanna!
ReplyDeleteBingo! Well done. #3 is indeed Gull Cottage from the Ghost and Mrs. Muir. Well done, my friend.
best,
John
Thanks!
DeleteIs #10 the house from the original Don't Be Afraid of the Dark?
ReplyDeleteHi Aaron,
DeleteThat's a brilliant guess, but not correct!
Hi John,
ReplyDelete#7 Logan's Run (tv series)
I see the Psycho house on #2 and #5, but I am looking forward to seeing what it was reused in because I can not recall.
SGB
Hi SGB:
DeleteJob well done, my friend. #7 is indeed from Logan's Run ("Night Visitors.") You're right too -- that's the Psycho house, but re-purposed for cult tv!
Well #15 is American Horror Story Season 1...
ReplyDeleteHi Brian,
DeleteYes! #15 is the murder house from American Horror Story. Great identification!
#4 is Collinswood I believe (Dark Shadows)
ReplyDelete#7 must be Logan's Run...? I don't recall enough episodes from 35 years ago to remember the plot.
Hi Brian,
Delete#4 is Collinswood from the original Dark Shadows! Great identification, my friend.
best,
John
Is Number 8 from Sapphire & Steel - First Assignment?
ReplyDeleteRegards, Dave Colohan
Well done, Dave! Yep! That's absolutely right!
DeleteSpotted another... Is 13 from Being Human?
ReplyDeleteDC
Dave, another correct answer. Well done, my friend.
DeleteHi John,
ReplyDeleteWell, this is all guesses for me today.....
1 Twilight Zone
2 Outer Limits
12 The Greatest American Hero
14 Bedlam
Carl,
DeleteThose are excellent identifications, but alas, none are on the mark. You are still awesome, however! :)
5 is from Night Gallery - A Question Of Fear
ReplyDeleteHi Pierre,
DeleteYes! Great job! That's the Psycho house redressed for Rod Serling's Night Gallery. Great!
Hi John,
ReplyDeleteA bit late to this party, but I can't leave #9 unclaimed, given it is none other than 1910 Ezekiel Drive, Frank Black's very own yellow house—albeit lying (almost) vacant here in "The Curse of Frank Black", just before Frank gave the windows an eggy makeover?!
Also—and I'm a little less certain of this one—but is #10 from The X-Files's "How the Ghosts Stole Christmas"?
Y'all forgive me for this, I can't help myself.
ReplyDeleteBrian is right. number 4 is the familial mansion on Dark Shadows. But, its correct spelling is Collinwood. The family name is Collins, and they live in Collinsport, but they left the "s" out of the name of their home. I'm not sure why.
In the Paperback Library novels by Marilyn Ross, and in the original writer's guidelines by Art Wallace, titled Shadows on the Wall, it's referred to as Collins House. Collins House may have been mentionesin a few of the earliest episodes, but they finally settled on Collinwood.
