John excellent analysis in your multiple posts of this series. Friday the 13th:The Series was extremely entertaining along the lines of Kolchak:The Night Stalker because the idea of recovering cursed objects was interesting to the viewer. It perfectly connects to the cursed hockey goalie mask that Jason wore in the prior Friday the 13th film series.
