William Shatner's early-mid 1970s Loblaws spots were priceless. My favourite was the one where he 'met' NHL legend Punch Imlach at the check-out counter. "Hey, that's you!"
ReplyDeleteTrivia for Canadians: Around 1976, newly arrived Loblaws president Dave Nichol took over the on-camera duties from Shatner. Wasn't the same (although Mr. Nichol took the chain to great heights)....
