Yeah, I remember this fashion trend of long ago. Adm. Kirk started out in ST:TWoK all buttoned up. Then, when all Hell breaks loose, down comes the tunic fold ;-). Fun post, John.

ReplyDeleteIt's weird that this fold-down flap design suddenly took prominence in genre movies...in at least three of the year. I wouldn't mind having one of those Megaforce uniforms...for Halloween, of course. :)
