    #1) The famous Kirk/Uhura kiss, ST:TOS
    #2) Koenig/Maya, Space:1999
    #3) Starbuck/?, original BSG
#4) Buck/Wilma, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century
    #7) Riker/?, ST:TNG
#9) Clark/Lois, Lois & Clark, The New Adventures of Superman
    #16) Sawyer/Kate, Lost

I guess this shows my age. I can get, or at least recognize, most of the early ones, but don't even have a vague blue on most of the contemporary shows! ~~ Meredith

    #5) Looks like Diana/? ... V
#10) ... I'm recognizing Mr. Henrickson there, so I'm guessing that's from Millenium - no clue beyond that.
    #12) Might that be a Mulder/Scully, X-Files?

  3. Well, I'm not sure about all of them, but I have a sudden urge to put the computer away and go find my wife.

  4. Hi everyone,

Meredith: You correctly identified the first two frames. You also correctly pinned Starbuck and Cassiopea from Battlestar Galactica (original) in slot three, and Buck and Wilma from BRogers in slot 4.

And, -- wow -- you also got 7, 9 and 16 correct. Pretty amazing if you ask me...and you didn't do bad on the modern shows AT ALL.

Woodchuckgod: Very nice getting Diana from "V" (kissing Marc Singer's Mike Donovan in the episode "Deception," I believe.)

You also correctly identified Lance Henriksen smooching with Megan Gallager in the "Millennium" pilot, and indeed, that's Scully and Mulder locking lips in "Existence," the 8th season finale of "The X-Files."

Hi Rich: Hah! I know exactly what you mean. When I was assembling this I felt exactly the same way. Kissing is a wonderful thing...

    best to all,

  5. So funny, you have linked to my mind. I've been working on a similar entry and well, you beat me to the punch my friend. Granted, my selections have been different from yours and I really enjoyed what you had on offer here.

My KISS idea came about when I was doing that film meme ages ago, but ultimately went with color in film. So the kiss idea was placed on the back burner and has been something I've been assembling over time. I enjoyed this. Thanks my friend.

I really like these posts. A fascinating look through genre TV.

  7. Number 15 is Clark Kent and Lana Lang from Smallville, no idea what episode it is.

Some of the others look familiar, but it's hard to see some of the faces...because...you know...erhm...they're too busy kissing.

  8. Alright, here's one that I'm guessing might be overlooked by most--since this excellent series was, generally speaking, completely overlooked by most. It's the camouflage that gives it away for me, though I sadly can't pin down the precise episode...

    13. Thomas Hobbes (scott Bairstow) and Sophie Green (Samantha Mathis) from Harsh Realm (1998)

  9. Hi SFF: Oh man, I hope I didn't steal any thunder there. The thing is, I think a sci-fi film kiss image gallery would still be lovely and original. For instance, I was thinking of Zira and Taylor in POTA. Or Han and Leia in Empire. I'd love to see that, and you are the right man to do it, my friend!

Lonestar: You rock, buddy! You accurately tagged Buffy and Angel's smooch, and John and Aeryn (a gorgeous couple...) from Farscape! I'm glad you are enjoying these galleries, I have fun putting them together.

Josef: You absolutely got that one right, my friend! Lana and Clark in Smallville's third season entry "Exile." You're right, some identifications are tough since lips are locked! :)

Brian Dixon -- Wow! I was wondering if anyone would recognize that still and you got it! Amazing job! That's from the pilot of Harsh Realm, a show I adored.

    best to all,
    JKM

  10. You are killing me. I totally have the POTA image as one of them. You nailed it brother! You see great minds do think alike if I do say so. Ha!
