A global temperature of 75 degrees everywhere suggests some type of global warming has taken place on the 'future' Earth. This would make it necessary to protect endangered flora and fauna in special enclosed environments.
ReplyDeletePeople are becoming more and more alike already. Call it the 'Americanization' of world culture. Not necessarily a good thing, as with American-style fast food. Now kids around the globe can grow obese downing McDonalds and Kentucky Fried Chicken (many Chinese have complained that an increasingly American-style diet is making many of their kids fat).

ReplyDeleteI know what you man about Americanization oc fulture, although we might as well call it corporatization of culture. There's something very depressing about going from Orlando to Atlanta to Charlotte to Richmond and seeing the same very strip of familiar, brand-name restaurants gas stations, and shops. to see this kind of thing applied worldwide is even more depressing in my opinion.
