    Well, it is a contact sport, okay? You want ratings. You want people in front of the television instead of picket lines. Well, you're not gonna get that with re-runs of Gilligan's Island.
    [pause]

    [hums the theme song]
    Yeah, the one with the boat.

    I love the character of Damon Killian, and I thought Richard Dawson was awesome in the role. In my less judicious days -- back in high school -- I wrote in the school paper that he should have gotten an Academy Award for that performance! I don't know that I would still believe that today; but Dawson is a helluva a lot of fun in The Running Man...
