Terror at Red Wolf Inn, a 1972 Aussie pic about a cannibal hotel is an offbeat choice, but I don't know if you can find it on short notice.
I always watch The Blair Witch Project on Halloween, because that's one of the few movies that perpetually scares me, no matter how many times I've seen it.
I usually watch The Exorcist and Halloween, but Kathryn is still too tender about Joel and is afraid those movies will scare her...
But definitely watch something from the 1970s...that's my pick!
