  2. Loved him in ROCK 'N' ROLL HIGH SCHOOL. Still his finest role.

I also dig how his brother includes him in pretty much of all his films.

Since nobody's snagged these answers yet...#1 is easy, of course, "The Corbomite Maneuver" from Star Trek. #2 looks like Gentle Ben, but I'll be damned if I know any of the episode titles. I'd guess that #5 is from Deep Space Nine, but I'm not familiar with individual episodes of that series.

  4. This is fantastic. I had no idea.

It's also really interesting how incestuous sci fi is...

    John,

Seeing as you mention Clint Howard, how about a future review of Apollo 13 (1995)? I'd also love to see a review of The Right Stuff (1983). I know these films aren't exactly science fiction, but I think it's safe to say that most fans of the genre wanted/still want to be an astronaut at some point.

  6. Hey everybody!

That Neil Guy, Anonymous and Dave Starry: Yep, The Corbomite Manuever is the right episode, and that's Howard as Balok (from ST: TOS). Looks like the other photos are stumping people. But Dave, you did get Gentle Ben (opening credits) -- nice! :)

J.D. I love Rock and Roll High School too...a great movie, and one of my favorites. Yes!

Grayson: I'd be happy to blog Apollo 13 and The Right Stuff! As a kid, I always wanted to be an astronaut, myself. And those are two fine movies...

    best to all,
    JKM

    Thanks John!

I think photo #6 is from one of the Stargate series. I could be wrong though. Ahh! Some of these look vaguely familiar. Anybody else out there?

The last one...well we have a hint, a recent genre series on Fox.
