ReplyDeleteFor all the talk about how it was sweetness and light, folks sure seem to forget how brutal the show was at times. The one daughter goes blind, loses a baby in a fire, the adopted son becomes a drug addict, good people die all the time, etc. We need more supposed "family viewing" that had this type of grit, instead of the crap that gets force fed the masses now.
