ReplyDeleteAll the best as always. I'm semi-embarrassed to say that I've never seen Dune. I've always been leery of seeing it, despite David Lynch's strong reputation. The opinions have been so mixed, which is why I look forward to reading your take on whether or not to finally move on that Blu-Ray.
Also looking forward to your Farscape review too. Take care.

ReplyDeleteI have one problem with Lynch's Dune, but it is a very big one-albeit one Lynch could easily fix if he were so inclined. At least 90% of the voiceover narration adds nothing to the film, instead basically treating the audience like idiots, telling us things we can see in the actor's expressions for ourselves.
