ReplyDeleteGood morning, folks!
ReplyDeleteRandal: Great job, buddy. You just took six gallery images off the table. Excellent!
and Carl: Yes, # 14 is from DW: "Night Terrors." Outstanding job!
That leaves 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, and 11 still out there...
best,
John
#2 is Twilight Zone. #11 is MST3K, I think from "Devil Doll."
ReplyDeleteHi Chris G:
ReplyDeleteTwo more great identifications. #2 is from The Twilight Zone: "The Dummy, and #11 is indeed MST3K "Devil Doll!" Great job!
#3, Night Gallery, The Doll. One of my favorite episodes. Totally creeped me out as a kid.
ReplyDelete#1 Twilight Zone: Living Doll (if I remember correctly, with Telly Salavas!)
ReplyDelete#4 Jason Of Star Command "Little Girl Lost" that you just reviewed. :)
ReplyDeleteSGB
If I'm not mistaken, #2 is actually from the TZ episode "Cesar and Me" from Season 5. Willy, the puppet from "The Dummy" with Cliff Robertson, only wore a sailor's outfit, not a three-piece suit. They used the same dummy, but this one is distinctively tanner.
ReplyDeleteAnd I believe #7 is from the Tales from the Crypt episode "The Ventriloquist's Dummy" with Don Rickles and Bobcat Goldtwait.
Jose:
ReplyDeleteYou are right, sir! Same dummy, different episode. That's from Caesar and Me, not The Dummy. Thanks for straightening it out.
And #7 is indeed from Tales from the Crypt, from "The Ventriloquist's Dummy."
Outstanding identifications!
best,
John
Is #5 from "Tourist Trap"?
ReplyDeleteBia Mota:
ReplyDelete# 5 certainly looks like it could be from Tourist Trap, but as they say on Jeopardy, remember the category: cult-tv. Stil, you're right to think of Tourist Trap for this trope, the evil doll brought to life.
best,
John
