Wow. Cool subject - Tough one. I'm largely stumped here.

15.) Looks like... some flavor of V perhaps?

3.) I recognize this. I'm going to guess original Trek based on the production values I'm seeing in the pic and nothing more than that - because this is truly a shot in the dark here.

    1. Hi woodchuckgod:

Yes! You did great, my friend. You correctly identified #15 as V: The Series and 3 as the original Star Trek (from the episode in the first season "The Alternative Factor.")

Well done in an admittedly difficult gallery...

      best,
      John

  2. I came here looking for the My Favorite Martian saucer, and either my memory is failing me or it's not here. :-(

#16 is the I Want To Believe poster in Mulder's office on The X-Files.

    1. Hi Terri,

Sorry to disappoint about My Favorite Martian. I must admit I forgot about that one!

And yes, #16 is the poster from The X-Files! Outstanding.

      John

Yes! The first image in the gallery is from the Agnes Moorhead episode of The TZone, "The Invaders." Well done, my friend!

    1. Carl,

This is a tough one, you're absolutely right. The generic nature of flying saucers makes distinguishing one from the other really, really tough.

But all your identifications are correct. In particular, you get credit for #14 ("The Greatest American Hero") and #17 (Doctor Who), because BT just beat you to image #1

      Well done, sir!

      best,
      John

    1. Oh my goodness! Joanna, you ROCK! I personally think that's the toughest image to id of this whole gallery. But yes, absolutely #7 is from the Brady Bunch and the notorious episode about Greg's UFO, "Out of this World." Awesome!!!!!

      John

#3 is, I think, from "The Alternative Factor" episode of Star Trek.

#16 is Mulder's "I want to believe" poster from The X-Files.

    1. Hi William,

Some extraordinary and insightful recognition there. Yep, #4 is from the Roy Thinnes' series The Invaders. # 5 is from Batman ("The Joker's Flying Saucer"), and # 6 is from UFO.

#9, #14 are still on the table, however!

      Great job, sir!

    1. Hi William,

Well, you're back and taking more gallery images right off the table. #8 is indeed from Sid and Marty Krofft's The Lost Saucer! That was a very difficult image, and you NABBED it!

      Excellent job,
      John

    1. Hi Indianhoop,

All your identifications are correct, my friend, but also already tagged. So you are right on all fronts, but other readers just beat you to the draw.

      This leaves 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 still in play!

    1. William,

Wow! Tally up another "hit." Yep, that's the ship from Star Maidens, from the first episode "Escape to Paradise." Excellent id of a very obscure ship! Fantastic...

      John

  12. #9 is from Star Maidens (but I don't know the episode). The rest are just guesses:

Is #11 from an episode of Isis? I watched a couple of episodes on Netflix a few months back and seem to remember this image.

Is #13 from Deep Space 9's episode "Little Green Men"? The ship looks like something from the Trek universe.

Is #12 from the intro to Project:UFO?

    1. Pierre,

You NEVER disappoint, sir! #9 just got tagged, but you accurately recognized #11 as being from The Secrets of Isis, and #12 as being from the intro of Project UFO. Very nice memory there...those are incredibly obscure.

      Great job!

      best,
      John

      That just leaves, I believe, # 10 and # 13, I think...

John I have always been interested in flying saucers since I was a boy of the '70s when mysteries were all about UFOs, Bigfoot, Bermuda Triangle and the Lochness monster. If my memories are correct.

#10 Wonder Woman episode that reused Space:1999 footage
#13 Buck Rogers In The 25th Century

  14. Hi SGB, my friend,

#10 is indeed from Wonder Woman, from "Mind Stealers from Outer Space."

You're on the right track with #13, but it's another series that aired around that time, that also featured a man's name in the title...

    Well done!

    best,
    John

Jason of Star Command it is, my friend, the episode "Through the Stargate." I love that miniature design, by the way. As much as I'm enjoying Ark II, I miss seeing the inventive model work of JOSC every Saturday now...

Great job, SGB. I believe that caps off the game for this week!!!
