As others have said previously, I'm not old enough to have seen the show when it first aired (I was born in 1963) but eagerly sought them out when released on DVD. The episodes are hit and miss but generally they continue to enchant because of the fantastic stories as well as the retro future they portray.<br /><br />Kudos have to go out to the show's creators, writers, actors, prop designers, composers and special effects artists. Being an anthology show, Stefano and Stevens couldn't rely on standing sets so each episode had it's own challenges to bring to the small screen.<br /><br />Even though TV is a visual medium, The Outer Limits reminds me of the sci-fi radio shows of the 1950's like X Minus One.
