Your article struck a cord with me. Today, I've been trying to remember how old I was when I first saw this movie. I was a kid. It had to be in the mid 70s, but it was certainly on television. Like you, it's something I had thought I'd imagined for years, until the advent of internet, and searching it out, again. Seeing it as a child, this movie is something you remember.
