I purchased...John excellent review of PLANET EARTH. I purchased Genesis II, Planet Earth and Strange New World from Warner Archive. You are so right about Planet Earth vs. Genesis II. Planet Earth should have been a series. I read that they actually wrote scripts for the first season, if it went to series, including one episode about a subshuttle trip to the London! Since the NASA built subshuttle system had global reach with substations on every continent PLANET EARTH would have been a great series. The third pilot Strange New World(1973) with the characters traveling not in a subshuttle[future underground global subway train], but instead a vehicle called the PAX Vesta Explorer.
