We are aware of it, but I've read that it is a bit more grown-up/darker in nature than Beast Wars. (For instance, I've read that Rhinox goes dark and joins Megatron...). I know we'll get to Beast Machines, but I'm not sure if Joel is quite ready for it.

In the meantime, his collection is growing by leaps and bounds. He just got his hands on a Transmetal Dinobot!

Great comment!

best,
JohnJohn Kenneth Muirhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15629979615332893780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12380553.post-86214393859220968272011-12-30T13:29:26.624-05:002011-12-30T13:29:26.624-05:00Great stuff, the Beast Wars series. I was also rather fond of its follow-up 'Beast Machines', which was done in pure CGI animation by the fine folks at Mainframe Entertainment (animators of the also fine series 'Reboot' - a personal favorite).

'Machines ran just two seasons, but was an interesting addition - following a core of the Beast Machines characters on a torn-to-shreds Cybertron. I haven't watched it in years, but I recall it fondly enough in my memory. May have to view some again.

Anyrate - Good luck to Joel on the growing collection! Have fun!woodchuckgodnoreply@blogger.com
