If we can agree that Roland Emmerich is no Ridley Scott, then I.D.R is closer to it's original in quality & tone than Scott's most recent cash grab. <br />As a matter of fact, I would think that if you loved the original, then you could at least enjoy 'I.D.R'. <br /><br />Whereas, the thematically wrong, anti-horror film, post-humanism, pseudo-philisophical garbage that is both "Prometheus & Covenant" has to be deemed all but unwatchable if, like me, you think "Alien" is a masterpiece.<br /><br />Roland Emmerich wants to do a big popcorn alien invasion film, execution is questionable, but intent was there.
