I'd never seen this episode, which is re...John,
I'd never seen this episode, which is really part of the magic of The Twilight Zone; how, years later, you can still discover episodes that somehow were missed in syndication and await like buried treasures to be found and cherished.
Upon your recommendation, I watched the episode on Hulu (how wonderful to have such a resource that we never could have dreamed of years ago), and I'm glad I did. Very haunting, stirring television...one of those entries that catches you completely unawares, and sticks in your memory like a song.
Indeed, the episode is a song, as you pointed out. I probably wouldn't have made the connection, so I Thank You again for leading me to a great discovery through your writings.
I was reminded by "Come Wander With Me" of one of my favorite TZ entries, "The Changing of the Guard," which is at once both eerie and beautiful; worth a re-visit if you haven't watched it lately.
Thanks again for the recommendation! Up next: "The Bewitching Pool" and "The Long Morrow."
SteveAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13101722769411384962noreply@blogger.com
