I know the scripts and characters got much better years three on, but when the show did work during those first two uneven Roddenberry years, there was a certain charm to it. <br /><br />Yes the eroticism in this episode is for me, wonderful, and exemplified by the casting of the very sexy Brenda Bakke, an actress who would have been right at home on the classic show.James J. The presence of William Ware Theiss is stro...John,<br /><br />The presence of William Ware Theiss is strongly felt in this episode. In his own words: "The sexiness of an outfit is directly proportional to the perceived possibility that a vital piece of it might fall off." Theiss was the costume designer for the original series and this, the first year of TNG. Even watching it for the first time, I knew that I was seeing familiar costume designs in "Justice."<br /><br />This episode is also vaguely reminiscent of the Year Two Outer Limits episode "Wolf 359," which features a spectral guardian of a planet objecting to - and attempting to stop - any outside interference.<br /><br />I really like your review, and the interview snippets with the director are icing on the cake.<br /><br />SteveAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13101722769411384962noreply@blogger.com
