As...Great review of this Harryhausen classic, John. As I mentioned, my daughter truly enjoyed watching this some weeks back. I have a lot of fond memories with this one as a kid. Of course, when I got older and read the story in Greek mythology, I never looked at it the same ever again. Not that I didn't enjoy what I saw, then and now, but what followed has to be one of the more dark conclusions (especially for a parent). Still, many scenes, chiefly those sword fight sequences, are indeed of the iconic variety and just bring twinkle to the eye of the viewer. Movie magic.
