To Hell You Ride: Journey's End

Today, I'll be reviewing the fifth and final installment of Lance Henriksen's, Joe Maddrey's and Tom Mandrake's epic poem, the horror comic-book To Hell You Ride.

Before I post that final review, however, I want to catch everyone up about where we've been in this saga of an Indian curse brought to life in modern-day Colorado.

First I'll re-post my interview with the creative team, and reviews of chapters one through four, and then I'll post the fifth and final review this afternoon.

  1. John,

In my comment on your review of the second issue, I said that "you will always be an integral part" of this comic book series. I still think that's true. I don't know if other websites followed the whole series from start to finish. I don't know if anyone reviewed multiple issues. But even if they did, I don't believe anyone else could ever understand this series on the level that you do. You are The Fourth Man. ;-)

    Well-done on your journey.

    1. Hi Terri,

Thank you so much for those kind words, my friend. They mean a lot to me.

To Hell You Ride has indeed been a great journey, full of dramatic narrative twist and turns, and a hell of a lot of subtext and social critique. I wish I had the resources to produce it as a feature film! :)

      All my best,
      John
