  1. Oh, too fun! I'm sure I'm not the first to post but I'll give it a shot.

1 Billy Mumy in the Twilight Zone: The Original Series episode It's A Good Life.

2 Trek: TOS Miri In the middle is Miri, played by Kim Darby. Another kid, John, in this episode is played by Michael J. Pollard. Other kids were played by Shatner's daughters Leslie and Lisabeth, the two sons (Jon and Scott Dweck) of Grace Lee Whitney, director Vincent McEveety's nephew Steven McEveety is the red-headed kid wearing a mask, and Roddenberry's daughters Darleen and Dawn. Two others were the children of Greg Morris of Mission: Impossible, son Phil and daughter Iona. Keith Taylor is the boy who needs a haircut on Miri's right (our left) with a jacket hanging on him sloppily.

3 Trek: TOS And the Children Shall Lead. Tall boy is Craig Hundley as Tommy Starnes; girl on our left is Pamelyn Ferdin and the Asian boy is Brian Tochi, both of whom were later in Space Academy; Caesar Belli is the other Caucasian boy; and Mark Robert Brown is the African-American boy.

6 Space: 1999 Alpha Child Jackie Crawford, played by Wayne Brooks.

9 Trek Next Gen Imaginary Friend. A spaceborne entity comes aboard and befrieds a little girl who lives on the ship. She takes the name of Isabella and was played by Shay Astar.

    This was fun!

  2. PDXWiz: Amazing identifications there, Gordon. Every one you named was correct.

And in the group photos, you identified everyone (more than I could fit into the captions!) Outstanding job with the "Bad Kids" of sci-fi and horror TV.

    Thanks for playing!

  3. Image 11- The terrific episode Monster, Episode 4, Season Two, Millennium! A classic!

  4. SFF:

Yes! Great identification, my friend. That's Lauren Diewold from "Monster," which I agree is a Season Two classic of Millennium. That episode gets my blood boiling every time -- to accuse Frank Black of child abuse! Man! Crazy...

  5. It's a long shot, but is #5 Jackie Earl Haley from the Planet of the Apes TV series?

    ReplyDelete
  6. ... that is crazy! That was disturbing.

... I think image 10 is The X-Files, Season One, Episode 11, Eve!

That was another solid wicked child episode. I could be wrong.

    Best to you,
    sff

  7. #5 is Jackie Earle Haley--could that be from the TV series 'Planet of the Apes?'

    ReplyDelete
  8. BT: You got it, buddy! Yes, that's Jackie Earle Haley from the Planet of the Apes TV series! ("The Legacy"). Amazing job!

and SFF: Whoo-hoo! You got it, my friend. That's "Eve" from The XFiles, season one.

    Great job, to both!

    best,
    JKM

  9. John Kenneth Muir,

Joanna -- oh my goodness, you are correct, but BT got there first. Man, I'm so sorry!!! You still correctly identified the image, however.

    Outstanding job!

  10. This is a complete shot in the dark, but is #8 from "V"? The figure on the right really looks like the back of Marc Singer's hair. But I can't ID the kid, as he doesn't look like the guy who played Daniel.

Of course I'm probably wrong, as I'm basing all of this on feathered hair.

  11. BT, #8 is from V, but its Mike Donovan's son, Sean, I believe.

    ReplyDelete
  12. BT and JB: Yes! BT, you are right that the shot is from V, "The Sanction, and JB, that's right, that's Sean. Nice job of tag teaming...

  13. I think 13 is from an Episode of Andromeda called "To Loose the Fateful Lightning" !!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Is #12 from The X-Files "Closure"?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Hi everyone,

Andrew: #13 is indeed from Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda, and the first season tale you mention: "To Loose the Fateful Lightning." Amazing. I thought no one would get that one...

    And Henry,
#12 is not The X-Files "Closure," but I totally see how it could appear that way, given the context of that episode. In this case, #12 is a contemporary of the X-Files from the 1990s, but not Millennium.

Great job to both of you!

    best,
    JKM

  16. Is #14 Jodelle Ferland from "Smallville"?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Jdigriz:

Fantastic job! That is indeed Jodelle Ferland as Emily Dinsmore from "Smallville" (episode: "Accelerate"). Excellent!

  18. I'm not entirely certain that I should be proud of the fact that I can identify the Beastmaster by the back of his '80s hairdo.

I also know when #12 is ID'd, I'm going to be very annoyed, because I'm almost certain I've seen it and should be able to figure it out.

Lastly, I've never seen an episode of Dr. Who, but the crappy set design of #4 seems like it could have come from that show. I'm sure I'm wrong though.

  19. Hi BT,

Good guess on #4, but no it's not Doctor Who, despite the cheap set design. #4 is another cheap show. :)

#12 has not yet been "anointed."

    best,
    JKM

    ReplyDelete
  20. By annointed you must mean Buffy, but I can't think who he is?...

    ReplyDelete
  21. Wait, is this the little boy from the Buffy pilot whom the Master abducts?

    ReplyDelete
  22. #12 is the Anointed One from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I believe the shot itself is from Prophecy Girl, when he leads Buffy to The Master.

The character was introduced in Season One, then was set up as the Big Bad for Season Two until Spike rolled into town.

    ReplyDelete
  23. 7. The Cubs from Logan's Run Pilot episode.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Henry: yep, that's the Anointed One from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Season One!

Nate, you correctly identified the episode, "Prophecy Girl" and the context.

Both of you did great on that one!

Howard: Those aren't the cubs; they're wild children from another series, one that was, essentially, a contemporary of Logan's Run.

    Great job everyone!

    best,
    JKM
