The Cult-TV Faces of: Terry O'Quinn

  1. I love this actor. He's one of those guys that pops up in all sorts of TV shows and films and delivers good work even if the material isn't always stellar.

I also wanted to add that I just bestowed the Versatile Blogger Award for all the great work you do on your blog:

Thank you so much for that honor, J.D. It means a lot to me coming from a writer that I respect and enjoy so much.

Congrats on the award! And O'Quinn is one of those actors I'll stop and watch whenever he shows up on TV. Has been since for me since his stellar turn in "The Stepfather."

  4. ADMIRAL PRESSMAN!!!!!!

Terry O'Quinn: a favorite of Chris Carter. He appeared on the X-Files three times as three different characters!!!!!! I love that guy!

  5. I couldn't agree more with all of you. O'Quinn is terrific. He was one of the best things about Lost [Image 5: John Locke].

    Image 3 is Alias.

He even appeared in Earth 2 as one of the best things about that series. I'll be curious about the rest.

  7. Hey everybody!

Terry O'Quinn is an amazing actor, and I'm glad Anonymous also brought up his movie work (The Stepfather).

Sci-Fi Fanatic: You correctly picked out O'Quinn as John Locke of Lost in image 5; and as CIA official Kendall in Alias in image 3.

Anonymous: Yep. That's O'Quinn as Erik Pressman in The Next Gen episode "The Pegasus." (Image # 1)

    Nice work to you both!

Now we just have two images left, numbers 2 and 4. (I think Number 4 is the toughie...) Any takers?

    best,
    JKM

Blimey, how could noone get number 2? It seems to be our Terry wearing his patented rat moustache (as Vyz would say ;)) as the great Peter Watts in Millenium.

But then again I could be wrong.

ps could there be anyone more uptight than Peter Watts?? Terry really did great work with that character. He hardly changed at all over 3 series. A real feat in my book :)

  10. Hey Will,

I'm sorry -- you did get Pressman first. My apologies. Nice job!

And you also got Peter Watts first, my friend! Congrats!

HPrice: Yep, that's Peter Watts with the ole rat moustache!

    Great job everybody!

    regards,
    John

  12. Ha! That's pretty good.

But seriously, you scored the goal. No ifs ands or buts about it. I should have been more careful writing that comment!

    best,
    John
